About the role
DV Commodities, a division of the DV Group, is seeking an experienced trader to own P&L across one or more energy‑related markets. You will work alongside senior traders, develop and maintain trading models, and help grow existing positions while identifying new opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Own P&L for selected energy business lines.
- Build and maintain fundamental and quantitative trading models.
- Collaborate with risk teams to ensure compliance with risk metrics.
- Work side‑by‑side with senior energy traders to share best practices.
- Learn proprietary methodologies and trading systems.
- Expand existing trades and pursue new market opportunities.
Required profile
- Proven experience in energy trading.
- Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and diligent.
- Strong communication skills under pressure.
- Comfortable working in a diversified team.
Required skills
- High proficiency in Excel and VBA.
- Experience with SQL.
- Python programming and statistical modeling.
