External Investment Manager

About the role

The External Investment Manager will develop and manage relationships with high‑net‑worth (HNW) and ultra‑high‑net‑worth (UHNW) clients across the UAE and GCC. Reporting to senior management, the role focuses on acquiring new clients, expanding existing portfolios and delivering tailored wealth‑management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, acquire and retain HNW/UHNW clients through personal networks and referrals.
• Understand clients’ investment objectives, risk tolerance and financial needs to design bespoke investment solutions.
• Manage the full client lifecycle from onboarding to ongoing portfolio oversight.
• Collaborate with private banks, family offices, asset managers and internal investment teams to deliver appropriate products.
• Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements for all client activities.
• Drive growth of assets under management and deepen existing relationships.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in wealth management, private banking, external asset management or investment advisory.
• Established network of HNW/UHNW clients in the UAE or GCC.
• Proven track record of generating new business and growing AUM.
• Strong understanding of the UAE/DIFC wealth‑management landscape.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
