Facility Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Facility Maintenance Technician supports the upkeep of POWERTECH's maintenance facility, ensuring all electrical, HVAC, plumbing and general building systems operate safely and efficiently. Working closely with the maintenance team, the technician performs routine inspections, repairs and preventive tasks to keep the site functional.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical work, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of lighting and power distribution.
• Support air‑conditioning systems, plumbing, and minor building repairs.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programmes across the facility.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Report any issues, damages or safety risks to the maintenance supervisor.
• Provide assistance to external contractors when required.

Required profile

• Previous maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Technical training in electrical, maintenance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of AC or building systems.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
