F&B Service Expert Apprentice – W Lounge

About the role

The Guest Service Expert Apprentice will join the W Lounge team at W Hotels in Abu Dhabi, delivering memorable food and beverage experiences for guests. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on training in all aspects of service, from table set‑up to interaction with the kitchen and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and clear tables, ensuring a polished dining environment.
• Communicate guest orders to the kitchen and coordinate timely service.
• Serve food and beverages, respond to guest requests, and maintain high service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, replenish supplies, and follow health‑safety procedures.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 25 kg unaided and up to 50 kg with assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and handle a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic reading and visual verification of menu information.
