Field Engineer II – Wellsite Services

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a motivated Field Engineer II to join its Wellsite Services team in Abu Dhabi. Working under general supervision, you will support wellsite activities, provide completions logging services, and maintain equipment while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Receive routine work instructions and detailed guidance for wellsite activities.
• Assist in completions logging services both at the workshop and on‑site.
• Perform minor maintenance of field equipment.
• Collaborate with the Customer Representative and drill crew on routine rig matters.
• Document assemblies run at the wellsite and maintain good customer relations.
• Execute responsibilities safely according to Baker Hughes HSE policies and operational manuals.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience or completion of Phase 2 of the LEAD Field Engineer Development Program.
• Ability to work effectively with others and communicate clearly.
• Demonstrated knowledge of downhole hydraulics principles and related calculations.
