Field Operator – Completion (Emirati)

About the role

The Field Operator 1‑Completion supports the execution of well‑completion operations at customer sites, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency. Working under senior field personnel, you will be involved in both on‑shore and off‑shore assignments, handling tools and equipment according to Weatherford procedures and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, inspect, assemble, test and operate completion tools and equipment before, during and after field operations.
• Perform rig‑up and rig‑down activities following approved procedures and safety requirements.
• Run completion equipment and associated downhole tools during service execution.
• Conduct pre‑job inspections, toolbox talks and equipment function tests.
• Monitor equipment performance, report abnormalities and carry out routine maintenance.
• Complete field documentation, operational reports and maintenance records accurately.
• Maintain inventory of tools, consumables and ensure good housekeeping at workshops and wellsites.
• Collaborate with Field Engineers, Supervisors and customers to deliver safe and efficient services.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of oil and gas well completion operations and oilfield equipment.
• Understanding of mechanical tools, hydraulic systems and completion equipment.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, lifting equipment and basic workshop machinery.
• Strong commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) practices.
• Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
