Finance Controller

About the role

TechnipFMC is looking for a Finance Controller to join its UAE team. The role will own the period‑end close process, revenue recognition and financial reporting for the aftermarket ME Geomarket business unit, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with project and functional managers on costing, forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
• Manage monthly revenue, margin and invoicing forecasts for the business unit.
• Identify and analyse operational improvements and cost overruns.
• Lead change initiatives and ensure delivery of expected benefits.
• Maintain strong financial controls to maximise cash‑flow and performance.
• Oversee external and internal audits and ensure compliance with company financial standards.
• Prepare monthly forecasts, balance‑sheet reconciliations and quarterly P&L reviews.
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation across assigned entities.

Required profile

• Accounting qualification (Bachelor degree minimum).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in project accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, revenue and margin recognition, invoicing, cash‑flow and working capital.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Self‑starter, team player with strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CFA, ACCA or CA are a plus.
