Financial Director – FMCG Business (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director / Deputy CFO to lead the finance function for a large FMCG business in Dubai. The role covers end‑to‑end financial leadership, including FP&A, reporting, consolidation, treasury, audit and governance, and requires close collaboration with the CFO, senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function across FP&A, business finance, reporting, controllership and consolidation for multiple legal entities.
• Provide strategic financial insight, scenario analysis and recommendations to support commercial decisions.
• Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning and performance reporting.
• Manage group consolidation, intercompany accounting, eliminations and statutory reporting.
• Coordinate treasury activities, cash‑flow management and covenant compliance.
• Ensure robust financial controls, audit readiness and governance standards.
• Prepare Board and lender packs, including leverage, DSCR and ICR analysis.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience in a large FMCG or similar high‑growth environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior executives, boards, lenders and auditors.
• Track record of managing complex consolidation and multi‑entity reporting.
• Ability to drive cost optimisation, profitability improvement and working‑capital efficiency.
