Flight Facilitation Assistant

About the role

As a Flight Facilitation Assistant at Etihad Airways, you will support the safe and efficient operation of flights by ensuring crews have up‑to‑date operational information and documentation. Working in a 24/7 environment, you will act as a liaison between flight crews, dispatch, and airport stakeholders to maintain seamless flight preparation and post‑flight processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute operational flight documents such as Operational Flight Plans (OFPs) and General Declarations (GenDecs) in line with timelines.
• Monitor updates and revisions to flight documentation, delivering the latest approved information to crews before departure.
• Assist crew briefing activities, providing first‑line operational support and answering queries.
• Coordinate with Flight Dispatch, Crew Operations, Hub Control Centre, ground handling agents and partner airlines to fulfil crew and documentation requirements.
• Retrieve, verify, archive and manage post‑flight records in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Support crew check‑in, baggage handling and general assistance within the Crew Briefing Centre.
• Maintain operational readiness of briefing facilities, kiosks, printers and related equipment, escalating issues as needed.
• Ensure clear communication during shift handovers and promote a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• High school qualification, aviation‑related degree or relevant flight‑operations education.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, 24/7 operational environment.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to regulatory and company procedures.
