Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor will lead the service team at Aloft Hotels in Dubai, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences. This full‑time, onsite role combines hands‑on supervision with inventory and safety management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staff to deliver optimal service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect grooming, attire and overall presentation of team members, correcting any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup of supplies, equipment cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Maintain organized storage areas, enforce FIFO practices and ensure cleanliness.
• Conduct scheduled inventories, stock requisitions and manage supply levels.
• Monitor dining areas for seating availability, service quality, safety and guest wellbeing.
• Generate work orders for maintenance repairs and follow up on completion.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation and employee coaching.
• Apply company safety and security policies, report incidents and complete required certifications.
• Uphold uniform standards, protect confidential information and company assets.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead a hospitality team and foster a collaborative environment.
• Strong attention to detail in appearance, cleanliness and operational standards.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts.
• Physical capability to stand, walk and lift items up to 50 lb throughout the shift.

Required skills

• Knowledge of FIFO inventory management.
• Basic computer literacy for inventory and work‑order systems.
