Forward Deployed AI Engineer

About the role

This position involves designing, developing, and operating AI‑native enterprise applications as part of fast‑moving, customer‑embedded delivery teams. You will work under senior engineers to apply machine‑learning techniques to real‑world business problems and deliver production‑grade solutions for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cloud‑native applications that integrate AI capabilities such as large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and agent‑based components.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional delivery teams to understand business processes, technical landscapes, and customer needs.
• Implement features and integrations while maintaining code quality and adhering to engineering standards.
• Support prototyping, testing, and iteration of AI solutions in customer environments, incorporating feedback and evolving requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and technical discussions to continuously improve engineering skills.
• Assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancing deployed solutions to ensure reliability and operational stability.

Required skills

• Python programming
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with machine‑learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit‑learn
• Understanding of large language models and API‑based AI services
• Knowledge of data pipelines, MLOps concepts, and model integration
• Version control with Git, containerisation using Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
