Full‑Time Waiter / Waitress

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and self‑motivated Food & Beverage professionals to join our restaurant team at Rotana Ras Al Khaimah – The Mangroves. As a Waiter/Waitress you will deliver professional, personalized service that turns each dining visit into a memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, seat and serve guests in a courteous and discreet manner.
• Follow the hotel’s service standards and performance manual for food and beverage service.
• Acquire detailed knowledge of the menu and advise guests on selections.
• Monitor food and beverage quality throughout service.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and satisfactorily.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the outlet and service equipment.
• Prepare the service area before, during and after shifts (mise‑en‑place and mise‑en‑scene).
• Minimise waste, breakage and spoilage.
• Apply upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or vocational training in food & beverage.
• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a high‑volume restaurant.
• Good command of English.
• Strong guest‑service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure, attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Demonstrated adaptability, teamwork and responsibility.
