General Practitioner

About the role

The General Practitioner will deliver comprehensive primary‑care services at Aspen Medical facilities, performing holistic health assessments, diagnosing conditions, prescribing treatments and vaccinations, and ensuring continuity of care for both acute and chronic patients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with registered nurses, reception staff and customer service teams to prepare patients for consultations.
• Conduct complete health assessments in line with established medical standards.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X‑rays, ultrasounds and blood analyses, and follow up on results promptly.
• Prescribe vaccinations, including travel and flu vaccines, and provide clear medication instructions.
• Manage acute and chronic health conditions, ensuring appropriate follow‑up and referrals when needed.
• Utilise medical equipment and devices safely for examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients and families on health matters and promote preventive care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
• Adhere to infection‑prevention protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Document all medical activities accurately in electronic or physical records.
