General Technician – Facility Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a skilled General Technician to join our hotel team in Dubai. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure smooth facility operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout the hotel.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and infrastructure to identify potential issues.
• Install and set up new equipment following technical specifications and safety guidelines.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and repairs.
• Collaborate with other departments to support seamless facility operations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in inventory management of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational certificate in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years practical experience as a general technician or in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively.
