Ground Controller – Level I (Skydiving Operations)

About the role

We are looking for a Ground Controller – Level I to manage all ground‑side operations for Sky Dive Dubai. The role ensures safe aircraft loading, coordinates skydiver drops, and oversees landing safety.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the loading of aircraft and verify manifest accuracy.
• Communicate with pilots about drop zones, weather conditions and air‑space status.
• Monitor weather and decide, with management, which skydivers may jump.
• Coordinate with air traffic control to maintain safe air‑space usage.
• Set up ground control each day – check radios, open air‑space, prepare landing area and fuel buggies.
• Observe all landings, provide safety advice and enforce discipline.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles through regular inspections, cleaning and proper storage.
• Ensure vehicles used for transportation are clean and operational.
• Provide immediate assistance during incidents, including basic first aid and liaison with emergency services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ground operations, aviation or related safety roles.
