Guest Service Agent

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Guest Service Agent to join our front‑office team at Grand Plaza Hotel. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth check‑in and check‑out experience while delivering personalized service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a courteous, personalized manner.
• Accurately complete check‑in and check‑out procedures, verifying reservations, IDs, and payment details.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, Concierge and other departments to fulfil guest needs.
• Process room charges, payments, deposits, refunds and maintain accurate financial records.
• Maintain up‑to‑date guest records in the hotel property‑management system.
• Monitor room availability, assist with room assignments and changes.
• Manage front‑office communications such as telephone calls, messages and wake‑up calls.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in hotel front‑office, reception or customer‑service roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service orientation.
• Professional, confident and welcoming personality.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel property‑management systems (PMS).
