Head of Franchise Development

About the role

The Head of Franchise Development will lead Framex Investment’s core franchise strategy, turning high‑potential brands into scalable, franchise‑ready businesses across the UAE and GCC. Reporting to the CEO, this senior role combines market analysis, model design, and investment recommendation to drive growth and international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Source and screen potential franchise brands throughout the UAE and GCC.
• Design franchise models, assessing system structure, unit economics and scalability.
• Develop franchise documentation including operations manuals, SOPs and training frameworks.
• Approve and structure master franchise and area development agreements before executive review.
• Guide market entry and international expansion strategies for franchised brands.
• Manage and mentor the Franchise Investment Manager, SOP Analyst and Expansion Coordinator.
• Present investment recommendations and development plans to the CEO and executive team.
• Maintain relationships with franchisors, brand owners and industry stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field; MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in franchise development, business development or investment, preferably in the GCC.
• Proven track record structuring franchise agreements or scaling multi‑unit business models.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to assess unit economics and franchise feasibility.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep understanding of UAE/GCC franchise regulations and market dynamics.
• Leadership experience managing a small team.
