Head Waiter – French Speaking – Dubai

About the role

Fundamental Hospitality is seeking a dynamic Head Waiter for one of its nightlife restaurants in Dubai. The successful candidate will lead the floor service team, ensure high‑quality guest experiences and uphold the venue’s elevated standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the service team throughout each shift, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Oversee service of an assigned section, maintaining consistently high standards.
• Welcome and engage guests, creating a warm and memorable experience.
• Coordinate with Management and Reception to manage guest flow and table allocation.
• Ensure all service standards, procedures and presentation guidelines are followed.
• Anticipate guest needs, handling requests or concerns with professionalism.
• Support training and development of waitstaff and other service team members.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, beverages and current promotions.
• Assist management in maintaining venue energy and service standards throughout the evening.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter or similar role in a high‑end restaurant, luxury hospitality or nightlife environment.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a service team in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident and guest‑focused personality.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Proficiency in French and English languages.
