Hospitality Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Hospitality Buyer to lead the procurement of food, beverage, operating supplies, equipment, furniture, fixtures and other items essential to our hotel and restaurant operations in Dubai. The role focuses on sourcing quality products, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining optimal inventory while controlling costs.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase food, beverage, operating supplies, equipment, furniture, fixtures and related hospitality items.
• Obtain quotations, evaluate suppliers and negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with stores and prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
• Analyze purchasing trends, recommend cost‑saving initiatives and support month‑end reporting.
• Evaluate supplier performance, ensure compliance with contracts and resolve delivery or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, quotations and invoices, and prepare reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels, restaurants or catering groups.
• Knowledge of food & beverage purchasing, operating supplies, FF&E and hospitality procurement processes.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, FMC, BirchStreet or Materials Control.
