Hostess – Chitarra (Italian Restaurant)

About the role

The Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking a professional Hostess for its Chitarra Italian restaurant. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless dining experience in a luxury hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, creating a polished first impression aligned with the brand’s luxury standards.
• Manage reservations across all channels, maintain accurate records, and coordinate table assignments based on guest preferences and dining flow.
• Communicate guest allergies, special requests, and preferences to service and kitchen teams.
• Maintain the reservation system database and update guest profiles.
• Provide accurate information about the outlet’s concept, menu, and promotions, and assist with upselling beverages.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high‑end restaurant or hotel front‑of‑house environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
