Hostess – Food & Beverage at Madinat Jumeirah Resort

About the role

The Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests at Madinat Jumeirah Resort, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless dining experience in a luxury 5‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, engage in friendly conversation and escort them to their tables.
• Manage dining reservations, special occasions and enquiries using the Restaurant Reservations SOP and F&B Enquiry/Booking checklist.
• Present menus, describe signature dishes and recommend food‑and‑beverage pairings.
• Provide personalized service to VIP and regular guests, remembering preferences, allergies and privacy requirements.
• Anticipate and fulfil guest needs, adhering to Heart of Jumeirah standards and confidentiality protocols.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 1–2 years of guest‑service experience in a 5‑star hotel or luxury restaurant.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Opera Cloud reservation system.
• Microsoft Office suite.
