Housekeeping Manager

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team for its upcoming 1,530‑room resort in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring guest rooms meet luxury standards, and supporting the Executive Housekeeper in delivering memorable experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach housekeeping staff, ensuring punctuality, proper uniform, and high service standards.
• Manage departmental rosters, performance, and productivity tools such as Time and Motion studies.
• Coordinate with Front Office to optimise room turnover and handle late check‑outs.
• Conduct inspections, quality audits and implement improvement plans based on audit results.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and development of new colleagues and team leaders.
• Monitor guest supply usage, control costs, and ensure compliance with health, safety and local regulations.

Required profile

• Graduate in Hotel Management or equivalent diploma.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar managerial role within a 5‑star hotel or resort.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational and leadership abilities.
• Fluent in English (verbal, written and reading).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, multicultural hospitality environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera property management system.
• Experience using Maximo maintenance software.
• Knowledge of FCS communication system.
