Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead daily housekeeping operations for premium lounge areas, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for guests. This role reports to lounge management and works closely with procurement and maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide housekeeping staff, allocate tasks and create work schedules.
• Conduct regular inspections of lounge seating, dining, restrooms and back‑of‑house areas to verify hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens and consumables; coordinate replenishment with procurement.
• Handle and store cleaning equipment, tools and chemicals according to safety protocols.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards or incidents promptly to management.
• Ensure compliance with airport security procedures, lounge SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to guest requests or complaints regarding cleanliness in a timely manner.
• Maintain daily housekeeping logs, performance records and assist with staff evaluations.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards applicable to airport lounge environments.
• Ability to train, motivate and monitor a team to meet premium service standards.
• Attention to detail and proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
