Housekeeping Supervisor – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service across guest rooms, suites, and public areas. Working in a Forbes Five‑Star environment, you will lead a team of Housekeeping Attendants, coordinate with other departments, and uphold the True Waldorf Service philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide Housekeeping Attendants to meet hotel cleanliness standards.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas, complete reports, and update room status in the property management system.
• Communicate clean room status to the Front Office and coordinate with Engineering for maintenance issues.
• Engage with guests, respond to requests, and provide information on hotel services and local attractions.
• Monitor corridors, trolleys, service areas, and turndown service to maintain presentation standards.
• Prepare turndown reports, conduct shift briefings, and support quarterly linen inventories.
• Maintain master keys, attendance records, and departmental documentation.
• Attend daily briefings and deliver on‑the‑job training and coaching.

Required profile

• Previous experience supervising housekeeping staff in a hotel setting.
• Familiarity with property management systems and inventory control.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct quality inspections.
• Excellent guest service orientation and communication skills.
