HR Compliance & Audit Specialist

About the role

The HR Compliance & Audit Specialist will safeguard NAFFCO’s human‑resources processes by ensuring they meet all applicable laws, regulations and internal standards. The role involves conducting regular audits, supporting policy development and driving corrective actions to maintain robust HR governance.

Key responsibilities

• Audit HR transactions for accuracy, completeness and compliance before final processing.
• Verify employee master data, personnel files, onboarding, attendance, leave, payroll inputs and movement records.
• Review HR‑related invoices, reimbursements, refunds and increment proposals for policy compliance.
• Audit visa, labour, Emirates ID, medical, insurance and government‑portal transactions to ensure statutory compliance and timely processing.
• Perform periodic reconciliations between HR records, payroll, government portals and insurance databases to identify discrepancies.
• Conduct compliance audits across HR processes, identify risks, recommend corrective actions and monitor implementation.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures and documentation comply with UAE Labour Law, Free‑Zone regulations and company standards.
• Prepare audit findings, compliance reports and recommendations to strengthen HR governance and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and Free‑Zone regulations.
• Proven experience conducting HR audits and compliance reviews.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to reconcile complex data sets.
• Capability to prepare clear audit reports and actionable recommendations.
