HSE Manager

About the role

The HSE Manager will lead the project Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) program, ensuring compliance with ADNOC policies, Abu Dhabi regulations, and industry best practices. This senior role partners with project leadership to embed safety culture across all activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire project HSE program and drive HSE excellence through visible leadership.
• Facilitate regular Safety Steering Team (SST) meetings with senior management and major contractors.
• Maintain active communication with ADNOC Corporate HSE and shareholder companies.
• Implement and adapt Risk Assessment Management Systems (RAMS) in collaboration with engineering.
• Integrate HSE requirements into tender packages and support tender evaluations.
• Conduct HSE kick‑off meetings with contractors prior to site mobilization.
• Establish and review HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with senior management.
• Ensure prompt incident notification, investigation, and corrective‑action tracking.
• Collect and analyse HSE performance data to identify trends.
• Develop a Safety Observation & Intervention program to promote workforce ownership of safety.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing HSE programs in oil & gas or large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC HSE Safety Policy and Abu Dhabi HSE regulations.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and engage senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and training skills to motivate personnel.
