HVAC Technician

About the role

The HVAC Technician will install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems for commercial and residential clients in Ajman. The role ensures systems operate efficiently, safely and in compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Install heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections and preventive servicing of HVAC units.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and refrigeration faults.
• Replace defective components such as compressors, motors, thermostats and fans.
• Test systems to verify proper operation and energy efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations to customers.
• Respond to emergency service calls as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC preferred.
• Valid UAE HVAC certification as required by local regulations.
• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration principles and HVAC controls.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
