Site Engineer – MEP (Construction)

About the role

We are seeking a Site Engineer – MEP to lead the execution of mechanical, electrical and plumbing works on construction projects in Ajman. The role involves supervising daily site activities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring that all MEP installations meet quality and design standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day MEP site activities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting and drainage systems.
• Coordinate MEP works with civil, architectural and structural teams to avoid clashes and ensure seamless integration.
• Review and verify MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications and BOQs before execution.
• Monitor work progress, quality, workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
• Identify and resolve technical and site‑related MEP issues promptly.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning and hand‑over activities in line with approved drawings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of hands‑on experience in MEP contracting and building construction.
• Proven experience supervising residential, commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong problem‑solving, coordination and communication abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, BOQs and specifications.
