Implementation Consultant

About the role

The Implementation Consultant will lead the setup, installation, configuration, customization and integration of SDx/SDx2 applications for Octave’s clients in the Middle East. Working within a project team, the consultant ensures seamless operation across client systems, delivering high‑quality implementation outcomes in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Technical Lead and Project Manager to align tasks and ensure timely project execution.
• Coordinate on‑site and remote client activities, including access setup, scheduling and follow‑ups.
• Organize and track SDV/DTO mapping, data migration from third‑party EDMS systems, SDx/SDx2 and design‑tool integration.
• Extract content from 2D and 3D models and ensure alignment across technical teams.
• Work with technical teams on third‑party system integration deliverables such as APIs and interfaces.
• Support testing and validation phases, prepare test scripts and conduct Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Maintain and organize project documentation, including functional requirements and lessons learned.
• Coordinate training sessions and ensure readiness of materials and stakeholders.
• Assist pre‑sales activities such as logistics for demos and workshops.
• Route support requests to relevant teams and track resolution progress.

Required profile

• Experience working in the Middle East region is preferred.
• Strong adaptability, cultural awareness and ability to work onsite with high delivery expectations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction with customers.
• Proven ability to track and document issues, escalating to product and engineering teams when needed.

• SDx2, Integration 2.0 and SIO mappings.
• SPID, SI, SEL and S3Dsystems engineering work processes.
• API development and interface integration.
• Data migration from third‑party EDMS systems.
• Content extraction from 2D and 3D models.
• Test script preparation and execution of Factory Acceptance Tests.
