Investor Relations Associate/Manager – Energy Transition, Abu Dhabi

About the role

Our client, a specialist investment manager focused on global energy transition and sustainable investing, is seeking an Investor Relations Associate/Manager to support its fundraising activities from its Abu Dhabi office. You will work closely with senior leadership, institutional investors, and cross‑regional teams throughout the full fundraising lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation and execution of fundraising processes, managing timelines, deliverables and investor follow‑ups.
• Build and maintain a schedule of roadshows, conferences and investor events.
• Act as a primary point of contact for investors, responding to information requests and coordinating meetings with senior stakeholders.
• Attend investor meetings and calls, capture structured notes and keep CRM records up to date.
• Prepare and update investor materials such as pitch decks, teasers, RFPs and DDQ responses.
• Map the global investor universe and monitor market trends across regions and investor types.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in investor relations or capital raising, either in‑house or at a placement agent.
• Familiarity with private‑markets fundraising processes; exposure to minerals, infrastructure or energy‑transition strategies is a plus.
• Strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn a specialist sector.
• Ownership mentality with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel, primarily within the UAE and occasionally to the United States.
