IT Support Officer (Entry Level)

About the role

The IT Support Officer is an entry‑level position designed to develop UAE nationals by providing hands‑on experience in core IT support and technical operations. You will assist the IT team in keeping the organization’s technology running smoothly and help users resolve everyday issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support for hardware, software and basic network issues.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Log and track support requests through the helpdesk system, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
• Support user account setup, password resets and system access under supervision.
• Assist with routine system checks, updates, backups and basic cybersecurity practices.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses and equipment inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors for technical support and equipment maintenance when needed.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding IT setup and access processes.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures and information security standards.

Required profile

• UAE National.
• High school diploma; diploma or bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of IT support, helpdesk or technical administrative experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail and customer service orientation.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software and operating systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT tools.
