IT Technician

About the role

We are looking for an IT Technician to provide first‑line technical support and maintain the information systems, hardware, software and network infrastructure of our hotel in Dubai. The role ensures seamless technology operations for guests and staff while complying with Minor Hotels’ IT standards and security policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support for hardware, software, network and system‑related issues.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
• Support hotel applications and systems including PMS, POS, guest Wi‑Fi, IPTV, key‑card systems and telephony solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor network connectivity and ensure reliable operation of hotel technology services.
• Create and manage user accounts, access rights and email accounts.
• Perform routine system maintenance, software installations, updates and security patches.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation of equipment and licences.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes by preparing and recovering IT equipment and system access.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and technical support requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards and data‑protection requirements.
• Assist with IT projects and technology improvements as assigned.
