Junior Maintenance Technician - ULD

About the role

As a Junior Maintenance Technician you will support senior technicians in both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of equipment, vehicles and plant used by dnata’s Technical Services Workshops. The position focuses on the ULD (Unit Load Device) area, ensuring that all repair and assembly activities meet manufacturer, EASA and GCAA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily tasks in the workshop, maintaining good housekeeping and tool care.
• Assist in diagnosing faults and repairing equipment/vehicles to minimise downtime.
• Record all work in the Maintenance Management System and log books.
• Follow standard safety procedures to prevent injuries and equipment damage.
• Notify senior technicians of required spare parts and tools.
• Support scheduled maintenance in line with manufacturer recommendations, ISO certification, and legal requirements.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment and plant for reliability and safety.
• Execute ULD repair and assembly tasks according to MOE procedures, manufacturer guidance, and aviation regulations.

Required profile

• Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workshop cleanliness.
• Willingness to learn and support senior maintenance staff.

Required skills

• Fault diagnosis and equipment repair.
• Use of a maintenance management system.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and aviation regulations (EASA, GCAA).
• Understanding of ULD repair and assembly procedures.
