Kitchen Commis (Entry Level)

About the role

Join AccorHotel’s kitchen team in Dubai as a Commis I and develop your culinary skills in a dynamic hotel environment. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work with a variety of kitchen equipment while delivering quality food to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and sell food within recommended time frames to meet guest expectations.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as braising pans, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the assigned work area.
• Follow recipes and yield guides to produce consistent, high‑quality dishes.
• Set up stations with par stocks, replenish service lines, and restock for the next shift.
• Communicate needs during busy periods and report incidents to the Executive Chef.

Required profile

• Excellent personal hygiene and grooming standards.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining quality.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Operating braising pans, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, temperature control, and preparation of soups, sauces, entrees and a‑la‑carte dishes.
