Kitchen Equipment Technician – Commercial Kitchen Maintenance

About the role

The Kitchen Equipment Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining and repairing a wide range of commercial kitchen appliances. You will work on-site in Abu Dhabi, ensuring that all equipment operates safely and efficiently for catering operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, cooking ranges and exhaust systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and refrigeration faults and replace faulty components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, routine servicing and post‑repair testing to verify safe operation.
• Maintain accurate service records and report equipment issues to management.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Equipment or Catering Equipment Technician.
• Good knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• UAE driving licence.
• Experience with gas‑operated kitchen equipment is an advantage.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
