Landscape Director

About the role

The Landscape Director will lead Binghatti’s Landscape department across all development projects, shaping outdoor environments that reflect the company’s bold design language and luxury standards. Reporting to senior management, the role combines strategic vision with hands‑on oversight from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive landscape design strategy for every project, ensuring alignment with Binghatti’s brand and quality benchmarks.
• Review, approve and refine concept designs, balancing creativity with budget, feasibility and master‑plan integration.
• Lead, mentor and allocate work for the landscape architecture team, conducting performance reviews and identifying training needs.
• Ensure all designs comply with Dubai Municipality regulations, master‑developer guidelines and relevant building codes.
• Coordinate closely with architecture, structural, MEP, interior design and project‑management teams to maintain a cohesive design approach.
• Manage relationships with external consultants and contractors, safeguarding design intent during construction.
• Conduct quality checks on drawings and documentation, and resolve on‑site design challenges swiftly.
• Monitor industry trends and introduce sustainable practices, new materials and innovative tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in landscape architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Professional accreditation such as ASLA, LI or equivalent is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and deliver large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations and construction standards.
