Lead Platform Engineer – Quantitative Trading

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to design and build a brand‑new quantitative platform from the ground up. You will own data architecture, real‑time analytics and the engineering infrastructure that powers our trading technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architectures and high‑performance pipelines.
• Develop real‑time, event‑driven streaming systems.
• Collaborate closely with traders, quantitative researchers and senior leadership.
• Maintain and evolve cloud‑native, distributed infrastructure.
• Extend the platform over time to include pricing, risk and trading modules.

Required profile

• Strong Python programming and software engineering expertise.
• Proven experience building scalable data pipelines and real‑time systems.
• Solid SQL knowledge and experience with modern databases.
• Hands‑on experience with distributed or cloud‑native environments.
• Nice‑to‑have experience in C++, Rust or Java, systematic trading, and financial modelling.
