Lead Program Field Engineer – UAE Nationals (2026)

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' Emerging Talent Program as a Lead Program Field Engineer. This 36‑month full‑time program is designed for recent engineering graduates who are UAE nationals and want to work on‑site with customers, helping them locate and produce energy more efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface between on‑site teams and the client, ensuring equipment is installed, maintained, and started correctly.
• Coordinate crew members to deploy tools and services, liaising with customers and shore‑based Operations Managers.
• Participate in hands‑on problem solving at rig sites and contribute to technical solutions.
• Prepare, document, and manage inbound and outbound equipment and products.
• Support tender processes, including data analysis, cost estimating, and invoicing activities.
• Engage in job‑shadowing to develop a holistic understanding of the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences or a related field obtained within the last 36 months.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75/4.0 (or equivalent).
• Fluent in written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Legally entitled to work in the UAE without sponsorship.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, leadership, critical‑thinking and numerical abilities.
