Lead Testing & Commissioning Engineer – Offshore Platform

About the role

The Lead Testing & Commissioning Engineer will drive the complete pre‑commissioning, commissioning, start‑up, performance testing and hand‑over of an offshore platform project. The primary focus is on instrument air and plant air compressor systems, integrated with electrical, instrumentation, PLC, DCS/ESD/F&G, mechanical and piping subsystems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the overall testing and commissioning strategy, execution plan and hand‑over process for the whole project.
• Lead commissioning of compressor and dryer packages, including mechanical run‑in, electrical energisation, instrumentation calibration, logic validation and performance testing.
• Coordinate all interfaces among engineering, procurement, construction, OEMs, subcontractors and ADNOC offshore operations.
• Manage electrical testing and energisation of HV/LV switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, UPS/DC systems, transformers and control panels.
• Conduct instrumentation loop checking, calibration of pressure, temperature, flow and vibration sensors, and integration with PLC, DCS, ESD and F&G systems.
• Drive resolution of punch items, technical queries and interface issues to meet project milestones.
