Legal Advisor Intern (Tech‑Oriented)

About the role

We are launching a global business match‑making platform and need a tech‑savvy Legal Advisor Intern to support our legal and compliance work. The role offers hands‑on experience with corporate law, data protection and cross‑border transactions in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on international business laws, GDPR, CCPA and digital platform regulations.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts such as NDAs, partnership and vendor agreements.
• Support compliance documentation including terms of service, privacy policies and user agreements.
• Collaborate with tech, business and marketing teams to align legal requirements with product development.
• Monitor legal risks linked to global expansion and digital operations.
• Assist with intellectual property protection for trademarks and copyrights.
• Provide multilingual legal support in Arabic, French and other languages as required.
• Issue legal notices for overdue invoices and initiate legal action when necessary.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law, Legal Studies or a related field.
• Fluent in Arabic and French (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Strong interest in digital platforms, startups and legal tech.
• Basic understanding of corporate law, contract law and data protection regulations.
• Excellent research, analytical and drafting abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with global teams.
