Licensed Flight Dispatcher (UAE Nationals)

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Licensed Flight Dispatcher to join its Flight Operations team in Dubai. This Emiratisation position is open exclusively to UAE nationals and plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant airline operations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse routes and flight altitudes, considering over‑flight charges, meteorology, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Negotiate user‑preferred routes with Air Traffic Control on a tactical basis.
• Calculate fuel requirements and optimise fuel load while meeting economic and safety standards.
• Select take‑off, en‑route, and ETOPS alternate airports in line with legal and company policies.
• Perform ETOPS diversion and ETP strategy analysis for each ETOPS flight.
• Compute take‑off and landing performance, regulated weights, and assess commercial payload impact.
• Prepare and sign the Flight Release, file ATC flight plans, and provide all briefing documentation to the operating crew in a timely manner.
• Coordinate closely with flight crews, ground operations, cargo, and load control teams.

Required profile

• UAE national with a valid flight dispatcher licence.
• In‑depth knowledge of GCAA regulations and international aviation standards.
• Proven experience in airline flight operations or dispatch.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for liaison with pilots, ATC, and support teams.
