Light Vehicle Driver

About the role

Agroshipping LLC is seeking a reliable Light Vehicle Driver to join its logistics team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves safe transportation of shipments, vehicle maintenance, and interaction with customers at various sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and pre/post‑trip inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to DOT, state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Complete trip and load documentation accurately.
• Provide courteous service to customers and follow site‑specific safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and assigned areas.
• Participate in weekly on‑call rotation and handle miscellaneous duties as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Willingness to learn company services, products and safety practices.
• Ability to understand and address overweight situations.

Required skills

• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Basic light‑electrical skills.
