Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will be based in Dubai and work full‑time on‑site, overseeing daily freight operations for a leading logistics provider. You will coordinate shipments across air, sea and land, ensuring smooth movement of goods from origin to destination while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily freight operations, including booking shipments and arranging transport modes.
• Track cargo throughout its journey and manage export/import documentation and customs clearance.
• Liaise with carriers, agents, customers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor inventory and warehousing activities, resolve shipment delays or discrepancies, and keep accurate records in logistics systems.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to optimise routes, costs and service quality.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills to interpret logistics data and solve operational issues.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Hands‑on inventory‑management experience, including stock monitoring and reconciliation.
• Solid knowledge of supply‑chain management, freight forwarding, export/import procedures and customs regulations.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• Prior experience in shipping or freight forwarding within the UAE or GCC region.

Required skills

• Proficiency with logistics software.
• Strong command of MS Office applications.
