Maintenance Engineer – Fire & Safety Systems

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to manage the installation, inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of fire and safety systems across our projects in Dubai. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem‑solving abilities, and strict adherence to safety codes.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair fire safety systems such as fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, hydrants, and emergency lighting.
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for fire protection equipment.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, system drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and system performance.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, civil defence, and local fire authority regulations.
• Provide technical support to project teams during installations and upgrades.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably with fire & safety systems.
• Strong knowledge of fire detection, suppression, and safety equipment.
• Ability to analyse problems and implement effective solutions.
• Good communication skills and professional attitude.
• Physically fit and willing to work on‑site, including at heights.
