Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Maintenance Engineer to join our hotel portfolio in Dubai. You will ensure the optimal performance and longevity of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems, supporting the high standards of our luxury hospitality brand.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and building structures.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely solutions to minimise downtime.
• Install, repair, and replace electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with safety standards and local building codes.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repairs for data‑driven decision‑making.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and complex repair projects with internal teams and external contractors.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on maintenance or technical experience in facility management or an industrial setting.
• Proven expertise in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, refrigeration, and general machinery.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
