About the role
The Marine Superintendent will oversee the technical performance of assigned vessels, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations in line with corporate and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage overall technical performance of the fleet and report improvements to senior management.
- Ensure vessels comply with class requirements, corporate standards, and national/international maritime regulations.
- Plan, monitor, and execute preventive maintenance programs.
- Identify technical defects, breakdowns, and arrange corrective actions promptly.
- Oversee the vessel's Planned Maintenance System (PMS) to guarantee timely completion of scheduled jobs.
Required profile
- Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in marine technical management.
- Strong understanding of maritime regulations and class requirements.
- Ability to monitor fleet condition and recommend technical improvements.
