Material Handling Equipment Technician

About the role

The Technician will maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Toyota Material Handling Equipment and be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment efficiently, aiming for first‑time fix and minimal repeat complaints.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnosing of Toyota Material Handling Equipment, including electric/BT/VNA issues.
• Read and implement workshop manual instructions and service checklists to ensure accurate repairs.
• Diagnose faults and recommend effective solutions, achieving first‑time resolution.
• Adopt best practices from service manuals to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Communicate work details to foreman or service supervisor and proactively identify potential problems on‑site and in the workshop.

Required profile

• Technical education or apprenticeship with a trade certificate/diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• Minimum five years’ experience with material handling equipment, preferably Toyota/BT.
• Valid UAE manual driving licence.
• Strong communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading and applying workshop manual instructions.
• Ability to follow service checklists and best‑practice procedures.
