MDM Lead

About the role

The MDM Lead will act as the Service Owner for Master Data Management, aligning data initiatives with business objectives and ensuring high‑quality, consistent enterprise data. This senior position drives design, delivery, and support of MDM solutions, primarily within the banking sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain MDM applications and architectures.
• Define standards, guidelines and conduct code reviews for enterprise‑wide MDM practices.
• Document procedures, ensure governance compliance and provide regular status updates to senior management.
• Track activities using ServiceNow or JIRA and adhere to ITIL incident, change and problem management processes.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
• Mentor team members, promote knowledge sharing and make decisions within the authorized matrix.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in Master Data Management, especially in banking.
• Proven ability to define data quality rules, conduct root‑cause analysis and lead improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of MDM concepts such as cross‑referencing, survivorship, source data history and publish/subscribe models.
