Multi‑Skilled Technician (Kitchen Equipment)

About the role

Respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance on kitchen and mechanical‑room equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards in a hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest maintenance issues and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of kitchen, air‑conditioning, refrigeration and mechanical equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment and machines, and carry necessary tools and radios.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts and supplies, and log daily activities for shift hand‑over.
• Execute basic repairs: plumbing (unclog drains, plunge toilets), electrical (replace switches, outlets, lamps), and minor carpentry or painting tasks.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work and follow all safety policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation and painting; hotel engineering experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
