Operations Coordinator – Port Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to oversee day‑to‑day port activities, ensuring smooth execution of all assigned tasks and acting as the main point of contact for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily port operations and ensure smooth execution of all activities.
• Coordinate manpower deployment, gang allocation, and shift planning based on operational needs.
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly rosters in line with client requirements.
• Plan and execute workforce mobilization to guarantee timely manpower availability.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for clients, handling day‑to‑day requirements and escalations.
• Collaborate with terminal operations, transport, accommodation, recruitment, and payroll teams for seamless support.
• Arrange on‑the‑job training for newly hired employees before port deployment.
• Monitor attendance, deployment, shift schedules, productivity, and workforce utilization.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in port operations, stevedoring, manpower supply, or logistics.
• Experience in manpower deployment, gang operations, roster planning, workforce mobilization, and client coordination.
• Previous exposure to container terminals or port operations is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, planning, coordination, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• A valid UAE driving licence.
